No matter the times, celebrating LOVE is always in fashion.
We did just that in honor of Valentine’s Day with an outdoor kids celebration (that was repurposed as a couples date night that evening).
We welcomed our guests and shared our love with these giant LOVE! signs from Card my Yard, they are such a fun way to celebrate in these crazy times. Â Something else to love – the signs are reused so no waste. Â You rent by the day. Â SO fun!
Atlas Event Rentals gave us the perfect pretty party options.  They made it so easy we picked out details like gold flatware and a cotton candy machine (HUGE HIT!) via email photos and then it was delivered to my backyard.  Covid safe and so easy.
The cotton candy machine came with everything you need and it was actually really fun! Â Atlas suggested adding coordinating pillows to our existing outdoor sofas. Â I loved having the beverage stand (added sliced strawberries to pretty up the water) and the suggestion for the 3 tier cupcake stand was perfect. Â They really do have anything you can think of!
Then we did a little DIY decorating with the help of this candy hearts Joyin banner and their cootie catcher (I mean, how covid appropriate is that?!) valentines. Â The kids loved them and NO sugar, food allergies, or plastic junk to contend with!
Food from Delivery Dudes sure made the day easier! Â I put in a request for our pizza to be made in the shape of a heart in their special request area – and 30 min later a knock at my door with heart shaped pizzas and Bolay made everyone happy.
Floral arrangements provided by local mom and florist Prim Rose Garden Design. Â They smelled amazing too. Â She is so easy to work with. Â Still has Valentines avability as of right now!
Sweet treats were a go – the kids loved whacking at this SugarPlum heart pizza (with toppings like potato chips and pretzels. Â The parents might have snuck a few pieces. Â How fab would that be to send to someone nursing a broken heart? Â The kids also go to decorate a cupcake with SprinklePop. Â These aren’t your mommas sprinkles – they are tasty, don’t crack your teeth, and adorable. Â The “Bee Mine” ones even have little wafers that look like bees.
We added a little fun with crafts and a piñata.  I went with this piñata as it actually has strings to pull if you don’t want to swing at it.  We let all the kids pull at once and I didn’t have to worry about concussions.  Ha.
The weather was perfect for these heart floats. Â
A HUGE thank you to the talented Eve Greendale. Â She makes everyone comfortable and captures the moments so beautifully. Â Call or text her 561-827-3827 to find out more about her mini sessions, family, maternity, wedding, newborn, and so on. Â We know you will love her as much as we do!
