Urban Air Wellington Camp

Junior Marine Biologist Summer Camp

Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s summer camp programs are interactive, educational and stimulating. Each camp is geared towards children ages 6* through 17. Students participating in the Jr. Marine Biologist summer camp program will gain an understanding of various nature-related topics such as (but not limited to) ecology and marine biology, with an emphasis on conservation. Craft Haus camps for ages 5-12

Lion Country Safari Day Camp 2019:

Safari Day Camp 2019 allows campers ages 6-12 to learn about wildlife and wild places in a fun yet educational way. Cost includes daily lunch and snack, a T-shirt, cap, and water bottle, admission, and all activities. Price is $290.00 per week, per camper; a $20 per week discount is given for annual passholders, and a $10 per week discount is available for campers who are registered by mid-March, 2019. Camp is offered Monday-Friday from 9:30am – 4:30pm on the following weeks, and extended care is available for an additional charge from 8:00-9:30am or 4:30-5:30pm:

Campers will have the opportunity to discover what it’s like to be a Jr. Marine Biologist while spending the day surrounded by clear blue waters, coral reefs, extraordinary sea creatures and plant life.

Surf Camp Adventures offers the opportunity for campers of all levels to explore the fun and excitement of surfing, paddle boarding, skim boarding, snorkeling and more in a safe, instructional and adventurous environment!
With our certified Lifeguard Instructors by their side, campers will develop confidence in a variety
of water sports while learning ocean awareness, ocean safety, life guarding skills including CPR, and marine science all while gaining respect for our oceans.

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts Camps

ArtsCamp will be held June 3-21. ArtsCamp is an innovative, three-week summer camp that provides 80 young artists with a working knowledge of what it takes to bring a show from an idea to reality. The program offers an intensive performing arts approach that focuses on dramatic composition and performance for students ages 9-11. No audition required.  The cost is $675. The Broadway Artists Intensive Junior will be held June 24-28. Taught by the same professional Broadway faculty as the more demanding, by-audition-only 3-week The Broadway Artists Intensive, the Junior program allows students ages 9-13 to study all areas of the performing arts, with daily classes in ballet, jazz, tap, vocal technique, acting and improvisation. No audition is required.  The cost is $399 if registered by April 1, 2019 and $450 afterwards. No audition is required. The Broadway Artists Intensive returns for its eighth year at the Kravis Center. The Broadway Artists Intensive is a three-week, advanced musical theater training program for ages 14-21 and will be held weekdays July 8-27. Auditions for this program will be held on Sunday, March 10. Students unable to attend the auditions in person may also submit a video audition. Registration to audition is now open.  Broadway Artists Intensive $1650, dormitory and meal plans available.  The Broadway Artists Intensive classes will be taught by an all-Broadway faculty. Previous guest artists have included Tony Award-winning Director/Choreographer Jerry Mitchell, creator of Kinky Boots, the Best Musical of 2013, actor and choreographer John Rua of Hamilton, TV star and two-time Tony Award-winner Christian Borle of NBC’s Smash and Norm Lewis, who starred alongside John Legend in the NBC television special, Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert!  To register for an audition, please contact Alison Rehm at the Kravis Center at 561-651-4376 or by email, rehm@kravis.org. • CLASSIC CAMPS Burns Road Community Center, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410
  Classic Camp consists of good old-fashioned day camp fun with arts and crafts, swimming, outdoor fun, gym games, weekly field trips and more. Camps are in ten one-week sessions to accommodate summer schedules. We follow a 1:12 staff-to-camper ratio. 7:30am-6:00pm Ages 5-13.  June 3-August 9th from $195 per week.
• Sports R Us (Full Day)
  This full-day camp is built for the sports enthusiast! Throughout each week, a variety of sports (soccer, basketball, football, etc.) and playground games (kickball, capture the flag, relay races, etc.) are played. Sports-related field trips are taken twice each week, including trips to Marlins’ games and ice skating rinks. Campers should wear comfortable shorts, t-shirts, and gym shoes each day.   Full-day and Half-day camps available. This camp includes several aspects of technical development such as passing, dribbling and shooting, and provides every player with a positive coaching experience. Tactical games are played each day, with small-sided world-cup tournaments and full-sided games to improve game decisions and conditioning. Players must bring cleats, sneakers, shin guards, water, lunch and snacks. Campers train outdoors until noon at an area park and then walk to the community center for lunch and futsal training in the afternoon. Organized activities run 9am-4pm.

• TENNIS CAMPS
  Vacation from school doesn’t have to mean a vacation from tennis! These summer camps are a great way to enjoy staying fit and playing tennis. The USTA 10 & Under principles will be taught by certified tennis professionals. Drinks and snacks are provided in the Tennis & Fitness camp, which includes a half-day of instruction, games and drills. June 3-August 9th.  Ages 4-6 9-10:30 and 7-17 9am-noon
• GARDENS GIVES BACK COMMUNITY SERVICE EXPERIENCE
  This award-winning program allows each participant a hands-on experience helping local non-profit agencies with community service projects. Services could range from beach clean-ups and landscaping beautification to helping at a food bank or an animal shelter. Pack a lunch, snack and beverages daily. Participants should bring sunscreen and a hat, as many projects will be outdoors. Each day they will earn at least 6 hours of community service. Court-ordered community service is not eligible for this program. Daily trips depart at 8:30am and return by 4:30pm. Sign up for the week. Spaces are very limited, so sign up early.

  The Riverside Youth Enrichment Center will be offering STEAM/Sensory Camp for children going into VPK and Kindergarten (turning 4 by June 3, 2019)
  This camp will focus on STEAM and sensory activities that are both educational and fun!! STEAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. The children participate in many hands-on and fun challenges that stimulate real world problem-solving and intellectual learning. Bring a packed lunch.

• Stop Motion Animation
  Unleash your inner Spielberg! Film making crews work together with a REAL film maker to create a stop-motion animation film that is sure to rival the works of Hollywood’s most talented. Small crews will storyboard, script, build, design, capture and add sound effects, titles, voices and music, culminating in your own action-packed, dramatically inspired comedy (or whatever you choose your movie to be about!) Participants will also learn how to market their films by creating a website, social media posts and movie posters. Family and friends will enjoy a red-carpet film festival on Friday afternoon from 3-4pm and participants will receive a chaptered USB key with their film on it. All materials are included. Director’s Cut programming runs 9am-3pm. Daily activities from 7:30-9am and 3-6pm will be provided by PBG Staff. Campers will swim on Thursday afternoon.

  Come along with us on a colorful adventure as we explore sculpting, painting, collage and much more! We will undertake a variety of unique art projects. Campers learn how to express their creativity while making new friends. We will also practice advanced drawing skills and learn advanced techniques with paint and oil pastels. Campers must bring swimsuit, towel and sunscreen on Tuesday and Thursday. Organized activities begin at 9am.

  “Fizz”ical Science (a Mad Science Camp) What’s the mystery all about? Find out in this camp all about cool chemistry. We’ll explore the basics of chemistry with some radical reactions and slippery slime! Want to know who stole the ice cream? Become a detective and use evidence and clues to catch the crook. After we’ve fingerprinted the felon with our own Personal Profiler, we’ll celebrate by making and eating our own ice cream! Crack codes, get crazy with chemistry, and even make your own chocolate candy! Please buy or bring lunch and snacks daily. Mad Science programming begins at 9am and ends at 3pm.   It will be a blockbuster summer at The Director’s Cut with our NEWLY designed film workshop. Use GO PRO ACTION cameras, HD cameras and the latest digital equipment and hardware to film and edit your next big block-buster. Participants will storyboard, write a script, learn all about camera angles and cinematography, before filming and editing their movies. Participants will also design web pages, social media feeds, posters and trailers to advertise their upcoming movies. Family and friends will enjoy a red-carpet film festival on Friday afternoon from 3-4pm, and participants will receive a chaptered USB key with their film on it. All materials are included

Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! Figure out the science of forensics in a hands-on look at crime scenes!
