Childrens Home Society has their Back-to-School drive kicking off July 1. They also are offering volunteer hours. See attached flyer and volunteers can sign up here chsfl.volunteerhub.com .

We are also in need of a mural painter to create a CHS branded mural to bring smiles to the children and families we serve. See attached example.

We also have 7 spaces that can use a refresh- painted and carpets cleaned.

The Lords Place. Current volunteer opportunities that are actively being recruited for are Café Joshua servers, who serve hot meals in our restaurant style feeding program weekdays from 11:00-1:00, and tutors for our adult literacy program. Both of these are housed in our main facility at 2808 N Australian Avenue, which currently has an 18+ policy for volunteers.

Most of the opportunities for families and children are based around special events. We are always open to having volunteer groups host events at our housing facilities, such as hosting a group dinner, arts and craft activities, or anything else fun and unique that the volunteer group would like to bring to our clients to brighten their lives!

All new volunteers should reach out to me first to discuss interest, placement, and logistics, and a brief training is required before starting. Please let me know if you have any more question!
