So, fall is pretty much the same as summer here in the Palm Beaches… we just subtract a few lovely degrees and add pumpkin flavored lattes to the mix. HOWEVER… October also brings tidings of comfort and joy in the form of Spa and Wellness month. Yes friends, now that the kids are in their routine October is all about you being your best self! Spa treatments, fitness festivals, wellness events and healthy eats await – with a portion of proceeds being donated to the American Cancer Society of Palm Beach in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Talk about a win- win.
In the name of research… the amazing Alyson of The Modern Saavy and I visited the beautiful PGA National Resort and Spa for a girls day. We enjoyed the luxurious Pink Himalayan Salt Pedicure and Manicure together with some laughs over a bubbly pink beverage followed by the best pool side lunch (get the gazpacho!). After a dip in their Waters of the World collection of therapeutic mineral pools we headed back inside, me for a Pink Champagne Swedish Massage and Alyson for the Pink Himalayan Superfruit Facial. After we enjoyed a little more pool time and some good old fashioned girl talk. You could EASILY enjoy an entire day with all of their amazing amenities. If you are a large group or just want a little extra something reserve a cabana for the day.
Our top 3 must visits this Spatober? PGA National of course. Eau Spa. Merkai Juice Kitchen.
