Back to School Shopping at the Palm Beach Outlets (and tax free weekend!)

Local Moms Scoop and I scouted all the deals at The Palm Beach Outlets today.  This weekend is the perfect time to shop for back to school for two reasons.  One, August 2-6 is the Florida Tax Free Holiday and your opportunity to save at least 6 percent in state and local taxes on purchases of personal computers and accessories up to $1,000; clothes and shoes $60 or less; and most school supplies under $15. And reason two The Outlets are hosting two great events to welcome you on Friday and Saturday(details below).

J Crew up to 60% off polos, kakhi shorts, and all kids of great camo fun.  Kipling backpacks are machine washable made from the same material as parachutes, so you know they are durable.  When you spend $120 or more you get $10 off.  Teachers receive an additional discount too.

Up to 60% off Janie and Jack – FYI they carry sizes newborn to to size 6 in store.  Polo caries up to size 6 for girls and for 7 boys in store.  Uniform bottoms, plain tops, polo dresses.  American Eagle will have great deals on their jeans this weekend.  Children’s Place 50% off the entire store and giving out play cash.  O’Neil is giving you a free backpack with a spend over $150.

Justice will be featuring $10 jeans and other great deals.  Sketchers buy one get your 2nd pair half off, including all the popular light up ones.  Hurley has great deals on boys shorts.  We love their commitment to sustainable practices too.

Friday, August 2nd from 5-8pm to start your Tax Free Weekend shopping and enjoy fun crafts and activities for kids, vendors, live music, craft beer and food trucks offering delicious hot dogs, gourmet french fries, donuts, gourmet sliders, and more!!

PLUS check the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium booth to taste the delicious LN² Ice Cream and see physical changes occur before your very eyes as ice cream is frozen at -320 degrees in this “chilling” liquid nitrogen science demonstration!  Shopping on Tax Free Weekend was never this fun or delicious!
