I grabbed my best gals went to South Beach. Â It was just what the doctor ordered. Â I had not been on a girls trip in over 3 years.. Â with covid and babies and work and all the things – a trip like this seemed impossible.
Well, it wasn’t. Â Everyone survived at home and I came home refreshed, with a tummy ache from so many belly laughs. Â We are already planning our next getaway.
So – here is the itinerary so you can just click and go enjoy.
Check into hotel as early as possible.
Enjoy lunch poolside.
Head to the Faena
Dinner at Pao
Cabaret Show – I like the booth seating best, the front tables are so small that glasses were falling off every table all night long.
Stay at the Faena for some nightlife. Â You can walk right out of the show and follow the music across the lobby. Â Wait in line at the start of the hallway or walk further to get a table. Â You won’t be “in the mix” but you will still see the performances and be able to order food and drinks easier.
Sleep in. Â Gym. Â Put on comfy shoes and pack up for the day because you’re going over the bridge.
Uber to Mandolin – but before you dine, check out the cute shop just to the south of it, Earthy Chic Boutique. Â I always find something fabulous.
1pm Brunch at Mandolin(do make a reservation). Â Maybe my favorite restaurant ever. Â Charming courtyard so be prepared for outdoor seating.
Shopping in the Design District. Â You can walk or Uber. Â Head straight to Dior cafe to put your name down with the person standing at the first door door. Â They will text you when your table is ready.
Afternoon snack at Dior Cafe. Â The passion fruit dessert is all that.
5pm Happy Hour at Uchi. Â Yes, you need a reservation.
If you still have pep in your step – Brickell City Center is a fun spot. Â Shopping, dining. Â Or head to the Fontainebleau lobby bar for some memorable people watching. Â If you need another bite they have 3 fabulous restaurants to discover.
Drag Brunch. Â Its a Miami thing. If its not your thing head to Brickell City Center for some shopping. Or borrow bikes from the hotel for a boardwalk ride.
Hotel spa time. (make reservations when you make your hotel reservation)
Uber to Zara on Lincoln Road. Â Shop to your hearts content.
Dinner at Juvia. Â Rooftop restaurant on Lincoln Road.
After dinner drinks or dessert at Casa Tua Bar. Â No reservations needed, just walk in and head to the right. Â It’s a cozy 4 seater bar.
Either you enjoyWake up and walk the beach boardwalk.
Lunch by the pool.
Back to your beautiful reality.
I wanted to treat my friends so I gathered some of my favorite goodies to share. Â They were the perfect fit to enjoy in Miami. Â Biscayners sunglasses and Polar Box Coolers are headquartered in Miami. Â Bimble is my favorite non alcoholic drink – and for your drinkers it makes a great mixer. Â Skinny Dippers swim suits became instant favorites. Â Cabana Life clothing make the ultimate travel wardrobe. Â Hat Attack for the win with great sarongs and packable hats. Â Very Lovely Soles, a woman owned company making the perfect sandals for day to night.
