Sorry Mrs. Jackson, I am for real… never meant to make your daughter cry, i apologize a trillion times…
But all you had to do was not give her toxic beauty products, ha. She doesn’t give herself any credit in the interview below, so I will brag on this self starter for a moment. She created a non toxic fun beauty line for kiddos (pictured below) and is a Certified Green Living Coach. She shares her tips for a nontoxic life in her facebook group.
Where did you grow up: Vero Beach, Florida
Town you live in now: Hobe Sound
Why you love living there: After college, my husband and I moved to his hometown of Fort Lauderdale. After he finished dental school, we moved up this way for his residency at the VA. We fell in love with the area, and decided to make the Jupiter area our home to settle down and start a family.
Tell me about your kids: We have 3 kids, twins that are 7, and our youngest is 3.
Favorite things to do with the family locally: We both grew up in towns on the water, so we love adventuring out on the water and enjoying the best that Florida has to offer.
Best family restaurant: We have so many great restaurants it’s hard to choose! My kids love the new Blue Pointe spot because they can swim while we dine.
Ideal family vacation spot and why: Anywhere with sun, sand and adventure.
What’s your ‘day job’? Being a mom! Hardest and most rewarding. Everything else is a side job 🙂
What is something that makes your life easier/better/more fun? Spending more time in God’s word and sharing his Grace.
How do you balance your ‘day job’ and motherhood? There is no such thing!
Who inspires you and why? Our local community is filled with so many inspirational individuals its hard to pick just one! So many creative, motivational, passionate and giving folks, its just been fulfilling to meet and work and network with so many inspiring folks. I think its important to build relationships locally because they are the ones changing and developing the future of our community, and I just feel blessed to be apart of it!
What do you do for self care? Putting my phone away is a big one, these days we live in an unrealistic world of social media that can be deceptive and toxic, and it can be very addicting without us even realizing it.
What did you wish you knew but no one told you about being a parent? That you could love someone so unconditionally and exhaustively at the same time.
