I became a psychiatrist because I want to help people feel better. I am a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist who is dual board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Â My extensive training at the prestigious NYU Langone Health and Bellevue Hospital Center has equipped me with the tools to provide top-notch care.
I’m interested in assisting with a wide variety of symptoms and challenges, including depression, anxiety, and ADHD. I believe in a symptom-based approach to treatment that involves a comprehensive medical and psychiatric formulation. I utilize evidence-based practices and include various holistic and natural approaches, that may involve psychotherapy or psychiatric medications.
My practice is designed to be a patient-centered concierge care that provides direct and unlimited access to services with privacy and comfort in mind. I believe in balancing convenience with a focus on getting the care that you need.   Palm Tree Psychiatry is intentionally small to provide exclusive flexibility and the highest level of care.Â
I am an experienced psychiatrist driven by my goal to bring positive changes into your life. Holding dual board certification in Child & Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, I bring a knowledge cultivated through rigorous training at NYU Langone Health and Bellevue Hospital in New York City, as well as extensive mental health experience across both New York and Florida.
My approach encompasses a broad spectrum of challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and ADHD. I strongly believe in a symptom-focused approach to treatment, incorporating evidence-based practices and tailoring interventions to individual needs. Whether through psychotherapy or carefully prescribed psychiatric medications, I am dedicated to your emotional well-being.
My professional background involves working in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and community treatment, catering to individuals across all age groups. Beyond clinical practice, I have actively engaged with national medical organizations and contributed to initiatives supporting both physicians and patients.
It would be my privilege to collaborate with you on your mental health journey. I offer unique expertise that is grounded in high-quality comprehensive care and a treatment background that spans academic, administrative, and clinical settings.
During my time in New York City, I am proud to have led the Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatric Unit at the historic Bellevue Hospital. During my time as Unit Chief, our unit also served as the only COVID+ inpatient adolescent psychiatry unit in all of New York City.Â
In addition, I am thrilled to have served as the Associate Program Director for New York University Langone Health’s Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, training the child & adolescent psychiatrists of tomorrow.Â
I have also had the privilege of working as an undergraduate professor at New York University, teaching several courses on various topics within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies (CAMS) minor.  These topics included, sleep, narrative medicine, and even love!Â
I also ran a busy individual solo private practice in NYC, treating children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of conditions.
