Where did you grow up:
Born in Rio de Janeiro and moved to Sao Paulo when I was 8 years old. Moved to FL when I was 21 and have lived here ever since (I’m 36 now)

Town you live in now:
I’m currently living in Parkland, FL.

Why you love living there:
Parkland is such a wonderful community with its beautiful parks, great schools, and a real sense of neighborliness. 

Tell me about your kids:
I have 3 kids: one daughter (7 years old) and two sons (4 and 1 years old). My daughter is calm and sweet, loves being with friends and family and loves gymnastics. My 4 year old son is a dinosaur fanatic and my 1 year old keeps me on my toes as he enjoys exploring every nook and cranny of our home.  

Favorite things to do with the kids locally:
We love spending time at the pool, local parks, and playgrounds. The splash pads are always a hit on hot days!

What’s your ‘day job’? How did you get started with it?
I’m a lactation consultant with my practice, Little Sprout Lactation Care. I got started in this field after years of working as a dental hygienist and realizing my passion for holistic health and supporting families. I pursued further training and certifications in lactation and myofunctional therapy to better help moms and babies thrive. 

Ideal family vacation?
Our ideal family vacation is a scenic mountain getaway. We love exploring nature trails, taking in breathtaking views, and enjoying the fresh mountain air together.

What is your best parenting advice? Lay it on us.
Parenting is a journey with its ups and downs. My best advice is to trust your instincts, be kind to yourself, and remember that it’s okay to ask for help when you need it. Every day is a new chance to learn and grow with your little ones and it definitely takes a village. 

What do you do for self-care?
I make sure to carve out some time for myself with a good massage, going for walks, and doing some stretching. These moments of self-care help me stay grounded and energized.

Favorite local spots – restaurants, parks, shops?
My daughter loves Rocco’s Tacos,  the kids love exploring Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. We also often go to Delray Beach for dining on Atlantic Ave. 

Karaoke – what are you singing?
I’m a big 90s and 2000s pop fan
