It is the most wonderful time of year! Here is a roundup of some of our favorite holiday happenings. This will continue to be updated so check back. Happy Holidays Friends!
At Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa in Riviera Beach, Florida, an over-the-top gingerbread display – one of the resort’s most treasured annual traditions – will be showcased in the lobby. This year’s work of art by Pastry Chef Kursten Restivo, will feature a tropical twist. And for the first time, the sugar-trimmed house will offer interactive elements. Chef Kursten’s gingerbread displays are a labor of love. Last year’s gingerbread surf shack took over 1,000 hours to complete, and 1,800 gumballs, 110 eggs and over 34 pounds of sugar were used to create the gingerbread confection.

Sandi, the City of West Palm Beach’s 35-foot, 700-ton holiday sand tree is coming back, and she is bringing ‘Hope’ home for the holidays – Hope being a flamingo! The pair will make their debut on Saturday, December 5, 2020, when Sandi Land is lit for the first time this season. Hope will bring the jingle for the season, while families are discouraged to ‘fla-mingle’ outside of their own flock. She will have a stand-alone sculpture in Sandi Land.
Once the duo debuts, nightly light shows will run daily between 6 – 10 p.m. throughout the rest of the month. A special extended show will run until midnight on the final night, New Year’s Eve. Details here.
Deck the Palms is the Junior League of the Palm Beaches’ largest fundraising event. The annual holiday boutique market is attended by several thousand people each year, bringing together more than 130 local and international artisans, clothiers, jewelers, specialty gifts, culinary vendors, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. 100% of the proceeds from the event benefit the community projects of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches.
