What is your mission? Rescue, rehab, release, educate! Rehabilitating and releasing injured, sick or orphaned wildlife is our #1 priority. Educating the public is the best way to prevent a lot of the injuries we see.
How and when did you get started? Founded in 1983 with the incorporation of the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Environmental Education Center. Today, the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary provides free comprehensive medical and rehabilitative care to over 5,000 injured wild animals with the ultimate goal of returning recovered patients to their natural habitats.

Who do you help? We serve Palm Beach County but have also taken in injured migratory animals from New England area, Canada, South America, and more!
Are there volunteer opportunities? Any where children can be helpful/involved? Yes we are always looking for amazing new volunteers! Children ages 5-14 can join our Junior Naturalist program and learn about the environment and wildlife while creating crafts and doing experiments!
