Â
If you need a total recharge – we have just the place. Â (A quick drive, Brightline ride from the Palm Beaches, or if you fly in, it’s less than half an hour from Miami International Airport)
The Faena Hotel Miami Beach has everything you need, valet your car and you are done. Â They usually offer a fabulous summer deal for Florida and Georgia residents – so keep an eye out for those.
The Faena began in the 1940’s as the Saxony. Â It was the first hotel in Florida to have air-conditioning.
Alen Faena (model turned fashion designer turned hotelier) opened his first collaboration property in Buenos Aires then Miami Beach  – next up Dubai.  The Faena Miami Beach ocean front property was beautifully restored and reimagined to a place of wit, fantasy and glamour.  169 rooms- each a work of art.  We loved our ocean front suite.
The  interiors were designed by the husband and wife Catherine and Baz who did the set design of The Great Gatsby.
Fun fact – the sconces in the lobby are original. Â (Thanks to Rick on the security team for all the history tidbits.)
Tierra Santa Healing House, the on property spa, is an absolute must. The 22,000-square-foot sanctuary features an incredible hammam, along with shaman-developed body-healing rituals and treatments, and technologically advanced facial treatments using Naturopathic and Biologique Recherche skincare lines.  (Flo who did my facial said I would feel like my eyebrows had been lifted and wow she was right!)  If you fancy a massage see if Yabdale is available.  She and Flo have been at the property since day one and are absolute masters of their art.  Couples treatments are available – photos of suite here.
Thursdays- Saturdays treat yourself to a show- Tryst Cabaret in the Faena Theater. Â The lady who leads the show is an absolute STAR. Â I recommend seats at the side banquet or drink rail. Â The two hour show is sexy and fun. Â Light bites are available. Â Service is spotty so get there early to secure anything you desire before the show.
Pool and beach go without saying, just perfect. Â The beach has full service with chairs, umbrellas and towels set up for you. Â Cabanas and food service available. Â We think this part of the beach is the best Miami has to offer so don’t miss it!
Dining does not disappoint at the Faena. Â Enjoy Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann, Pao by Paul Qui, Veranda, and Gitano Miami at Casa Faena. Â I am a room service junkie and happy to report 5/5 stars
Word is the incredible golden Wooly Mammoth is leaving, hopefully just temporarily. Â Snap a photo with her just in case if you go!
Let us know if we can help with any questions. Â We hope you enjoy your getaway!
