DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, April 4 9:30am (10am egg hunt) \n\n\n\n\nThe Mandel Recreation Center invites families to its annual Spring Celebration Egg Hunt\, a beloved community tradition filled with surprises and plenty of springtime fun. The event will take place Saturday\, April 4\, beginning at 9:30 a.m.\, with the egg hunt starting promptly at 10:00 a.m. on the Oakley Gage Debbs Memorial Athletic Field. \n\nThis year’s event promises to bring more excitement as inside 4\,000 colorful eggs\, children will discover candy and prize tickets including four extra-special grand prizes: 2 beautifully crafted Fabergé eggs\, 2 towering 2-foot-tall chocolate bunnies\, and 2 $50 gift certificates generously donated by Le Bilboquet Market\, Palm Beach. Lawn games\, face painting\, photos with the bunny and refreshments will round out the event which continues to be the highlight of the season. \nThe hunt will be divided into four age groups: 2 and under\, 3–4 years\, 5–7 years\, and 8–11 years. Families are encouraged to bring baskets and join the festivities as children race to collect eggs and uncover the many surprises waiting inside. The Spring Celebration Egg Hunt offers a wonderful way for the community to gather and welcome the season together. \n\n\n\n\nResident registration is open \nNonresident registration begins March 23 \n\n\n\n\nRSVP

DESCRIPTION:Community Greening\, the Florida Forest Service\, and PBC Parks are continuing the transformation of the walking & biking trails at Dyer Park in West Palm Beach on Saturday\, January 3rd\, by planting another 100+ native shade trees! \nThese trees will provide cooler temperatures and much needed shade for walkers and bikers using the trails\, and we need YOUR help to get them in the ground! \nCG Arborists and our trained Tree Technicians will be on hand to lead the group\, and guide/assist volunteers. No experience needed\, and all skill levels and physical capabilities welcomed. We encourage anyone to join us who is interested in getting their hands a little dirty\, while helping a great cause. \nCommunity Greening will provide all of the tools needed\, have work gloves to borrow\, as well as water and light snacks. We’ll even have a DJ on-site to keep things fun! \nPlease wear closed-toe shoes\, and clothing that can get a little dirty. We also encourage you to wear a hat and sunscreen. \nFamilies are welcome\, all minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the entire duration. Event begins at 10am\, and estimated to finish at noon. \nDyer Park is located in West Palm Beach. The Mountain Bike & Walking Trail is located towards the back of the park\, past the softball fields and playground – 7301 N Haverhill Rd\, West Palm Beach\, FL 33407.
