This event includes a breakfast spread\, an otter talk\, a training session\, enrichment activities and a special guest appearance by Joey\, the Museum’s otter mascot. \nChildren can also visit and investigate ocean marvels in MODS’ latest traveling exhibit\, Voyage to the Deep – Underwater Adventures\, running through May 19. “Seas” the day and embark on the legendary Nautilus submarine with Captain Nemo for an interactive journey of underwater exploration! The exhibition was created and developed by the Australian National Maritime Museum\, an Australian Government entity. Flying Fish manages the exhibit tour. It is locally sponsored by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.\nExperience South Florida’s award-winning attraction featuring 150\,000 square feet of dynamic science exhibits\, an outdoor science park\, a live animal collection\, a rotating schedule of science shows\, learning labs\, café\, store and a grand atrium featuring the Great Gravity Clock\, a 52-foot-tall kinetic energy sculpture; the largest clock in Florida. DESCRIPTION:Maltz Jupiter Theatre is offering an opportunity for children to get professional experience at a Broadway level through its “First Steps to Stardom” audition day on April 13 starting at 10am\, offering roles for females between 7-13 years old to be cast in the Theatre’s 2024/2025 Frozen and Once productions. \nParticipants will learn a simple dance combination and will be coached in singing a short song. After a few practice rounds\, those auditioning will be escorted to the brand new Maltz Jupiter Theatre stage to perform the song and dance combination for consideration. After each participant has auditioned\, the casting professionals will determine which children have earned a spot in one of the upcoming Broadway hits being performed this season and the opportunity to work with award-winning directors and choreographers. \nEach audition room will have multiple adults present throughout the day to support the children. Students selected to perform in the season productions must be available for rehearsals leading up to the shows and be present for each performance during its run.
