Join Tamino and Papageno’s daring rescue of Pamina, the princess who has been captured by the foreboding Sarastro. In this singalong storytelling experience, children learn some of Mozart’s best-loved melodies and find out how opera companies tell stories through singing. This session will include a special costume design activity: children will decorate their own crowns as they step into the roles of princesses, princes, queens, or sorcerers. Palm Beach Opera’s Story Time Series is part of the Douglas and Delphine Daft Education & Engagement Programs, with additional support from the Palm Beach Opera Guild. Space is limited, and in-person sign-up begins in KidSpace at 3:30 p.m. For more information, visit wpbcitylibrary.org or call (561) 868-7703.
