Fairies, Fairytales, and Fall on the Farm

On Oct. 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. we transform our farm (schoolhouse, butterfly garden, & pavilion) into an enchanted fairy garden & pumpkin patch with children’s author Susan Beattie. Children meet our life size fairies (Leah, Ivy, & Sky, guardians of the environment) who will share all about their jobs including weather, animals, & plants as told through “The Magical World of Fairies” by Frederica Magrin. Children will paint/color around our whimsical tablescape and learn how to make Fairy Bread & Fairy Berry Tea with a tasting demonstrated by our local baker. Children can come dressed in their favorite Fairy or Fairytale costume.
