Children (ages 6 to 12 years old) are invited to an evening of fun and science with MODS educators. Caregivers will enjoy a kid-free night out while children have an action-packed evening exploring MODS after dark. The Museum adventure includes pizza, an IMAX film, exhibit exploration including the newest summer traveling exhibit Survival of the Slowest, produced by Little Ray’s Nature Centres in collaboration with the Canadian Museum of Nature and locally sponsored by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, as well as cool science shows and activities!
Experience South Florida’s award-winning attraction featuring 150,000 square feet of dynamic science exhibits, an outdoor science park, a live animal collection, a rotating schedule of science shows, learning labs, café, store and a grand atrium featuring the Great Gravity Clock, a 52-foot-tall kinetic energy sculpture; the largest clock in Florida. The showpiece of the museum since 1993, this unique timepiece is one of only three in the world.
Space is limited. Preregistration is required at mods.org/event/kids-adventures-after-dark-8/ Registration is open through Friday the week of the event at 3 p.m.
