Where did you grow up: born in Hanover, Pa near Lancaster, outside of Philadelphia. Lived in both new hope, Pa and downingtown, pa near the mainline. Went to culinary school in downtown Philadelphia
Town you live in now: Jupiter fl
Why you love living there: it’s a super kid friendly beautiful place where can paddle board, see manatees and soak up the south Florida laidbacklifestyle. The nature here is amazing.
It’s the best place for me to be a private celebrity chef because of the athletes and golf community that Jupiter offers. I also get to enjoy my family work life balance. Almost Any restaurant you go to is kid friendly and most likely playing Jack Johnson or Bob Marley.
Tell me about your kids: i have a 6 month baby at 40 years old omg. Her name is Sasha belle and a seven year old girl named Mila Belle. My husband is from Colombia so they both have the Latina rhythm when it comes to salsa dancing. My 7 year old has been practicing juijitsu for 4 years and it gives her a amazing sense of confidence, focus and self control.
Favorite things to do with the kids locally:
Paddleboard in intercoastal, go to the local carnivals and festivals and of course eat and explore the local seafood food scene. Guanábana is like dining in a treehouse. Kids love it! And Taylor’s farmhouse. It diy s’mores and live music. Great vibes!
What’s your ‘day job’? How did you get started with it?
Private chef for the past twenty years. I started in nyc working for high network famalies and moved to Jupiter right before pandemic and ended up working as tiger woods full time private chef. Now I freelance so I can decide who and when I want to work. I am doing a job I am trying passionate about.
What is your best parenting advice. Lay it on us. Â
I drill into my daughter that she is her own best friend. You will meet people who don’t like you and that’s ok. Be yourself and you will thrive. Stay kind and the world is kind to you.
What do you do for self care?Â
Pilates on the reformer is my go to.
I breathe
Infared sauna
I curse mildly lol
I remind my 7 year old mommy is a chef and it’s engrained in me and that it’s ok because im an adult. Mommy curses when she burns her hand but i will never curse directly at you…..and I take a lot of bubble baths
